Original Music: Xander Almighty, High Rolla & Lil’ David – I’m A Beast

February 28, 2011

I started trying to rap about two years ago.  This is the second song I’ve recorded called “I’m A Beast”, done with a couple buddies from college.  Hopefully, I’ll have some more coming soon.  If all goes well I will have a mixtape coming out sometime in the near future.

My verse starts at :45.

2011 Bonnaroo Lineup

February 15, 2011

According to the official Bannaroo Website:

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is a four-day, multi-stage camping festival held on a beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee every June. Bonnaroo brings together some of the best performers in rock and roll, along with dozens of artists in complementary styles such as jazz, Americana, hip-hop, electronica, and just about any contemporary music you can think of. In addition to dozens of epic performances, the festival’s 100-acre entertainment village buzzes around the clock with attractions and activities including a classic arcade, on-site cinema, silent disco, comedy club, theater performers, a beer festival, and a music technology village. For its peaceful vibe, near-flawless logistics, and unrivaled entertainment options, Rolling Stone magazine named this revolutionary entertainment experience one of the 50 moments that changed the history of rock and roll.

Bonnaroo’s line-up is extensive but this year they are including a handful of the biggest names in hip-hop including: Eminem, Lil Wayne, Big Boi, Wiz Khalifa and J. Cole.

I don’t even know the majority of the music but they’ve got enough big names to make me interested and plenty of new artists and genres to capture my attention.  I’d absolutely love to go to this festival…lets see if I have 250 bucks lying around any time soon…  BONNAROO 2011 TICKETS ON-SALE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19th, 2011 AT 12:00 PM EST.

The full line-up is after the jump:

February 15, 2011

Sunday night was the Grammy’s and I was busy writing a 10 page paper.  FML.

Anyways, this was Rihanna and Eminem performing “Love The Way You Lie Pt. 2” transitioning into Eminem & Dr. Dre performing “I Need A Doctor” the second single off Detox.  It’s a good performance, I just wish there was more.

Slaughterhouse’s EP release party video

February 9, 2011

Slaughterhouse’s new EP dropped yesterday and its great.  Here’s a bunch of videos from their release party.  The first video kind of sucks, the guy at the beginning is hell of annoying and the audio was terrible so they edited it out and input the audio from the actual song.  There are better videos after the break.  Check em out:
